Dr. Elena Vanc serves as Chief Technology Officer and Head of the Global Data Intelligence Center at Shinkin Gather InfoTech Inc. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Master’s degree specializing in Distributed Computing and a Doctorate in Computer Science from Stanford University. Her doctoral research focused on large-scale real-time data stream processing and federated learning algorithm development. Her core doctoral thesis was included in VLDB, a top international academic conference for databases. During her postgraduate studies, she led an enterprise-grade big data prediction system R&D project at Stanford Labs.

From 2011 to 2016, Elena held core R&D positions at two leading North American technology enterprises in sequence. At the first firm, a global digital payment service provider, she worked as Backend Architecture R&D Director, building a real-time cross-border payment clearing system supporting synchronous settlement of multi-currency and cross-regional assets. At the second enterprise, an AI service provider, she headed the Machine Learning Lab, developing intelligent demand prediction algorithms for financial and energy industry clients, with 14 commercial intelligent data research and judgment systems fully deployed and launched.

In the same year, she completed full technical integration with Decentraland’s metaverse project, independently building technical systems for cross-border exclusive digital wallets, digital asset clearing channels and end-to-end KYC compliance verification, enabling full online compliance control of virtual assets.

2. 2020: Developed an AI health monitoring platform to support Novartis Group’s remote medical care, building a technical framework for real-time transmission, intelligent analysis and early warning push of user physiological data to meet data monitoring demands of global medical tech innovation projects.

3. 2022: Spearheaded the R&D of an energy carbon asset traceability monitoring system that connects real-time operational data from photovoltaic and energy storage power stations, automatically calculating total carbon emission reductions and synchronizing data to an online investor inquiry portal.

Currently, she leads a global cutting-edge technology laboratory with a team of one hundred researchers, focusing on three next-generation technology verticals: generative AI, commercial quantum computing adaptation and neuromorphic computing. She concurrently advances an open cooperation initiative for the firm’s proprietary SaaS technologies, exporting standardized data research and asset risk control technical tools to global industrial partners. On a weekly basis, she convenes cross-regional sync meetings for global technical teams to allocate R&D responsibilities between the US and South Korea. Every quarter, she releases whitepapers detailing technical iteration updates, upgrading the underlying architecture of all corporate business systems to continuously reinforce the firm’s exclusive technical moat.
